Bachelor Certificate in Spiritual Formation for Ministry

The Bachelor Certificate in Spiritual Formation for Ministry is our Foundational Program and sets the stage for later studies in New Testament, Old Testament, Preaching and Christian Education. This while providing a solid base of learning for students in the areas of ministry, biblical interpretation and teaching. The Bachelor Certificate teaches the students about many subjects - including, but not limited to, purpose, calling, character, healing, missions, spiritual habits, ministry, apologetics, leadership, administration and the proper handling of scripture.

   

Master Certificate in Biblical Studies

The Master Certificate in Biblical Studies is our Core Program and lays a thorough, in-depth and sweeping Biblical, Historical and Theological foundation for advance studies in leadership, Christian education, preaching & exhortation and pastoral care. Topics in this program include, but are not limited to, Pentateuch, Prophets & Prophecy, Jesus and the Gospels, Acts and Paul, History of Christianity, Doctrine, African American Theology and Racial Conflict & Social Healing.

  

D.Min. Certificate in Transformative Leadership

The Doctoral Diploma in Transformative Leadership is our Advanced Program and culminates in a ministry project that is researched, documented, implemented and evaluated. This ministry project is selected by the student and reflects the development and design of a completely new ministry. This ministry may be within an existing ministry or may be a total restart of a particular ministry. In some cases students have started new ministries or para-church organizations. In other cases students have used this program to plan, plant and launch a new church. In addition to the research and writing required, students will draw on the courses taught in our Bachelor and Master Certificate programs and the assignments which prepare them for this project. The final piece of the puzzle for students in the Doctoral Diploma in Transformative Leadership is the coursework in Vision Casting, Church Leadership Preaching & Exhortation, Christian Education and Pastoral Care and Counseling.

Licensing, Credentials & Specialty Certifications

Those receiving licenses, credentials and specialty certifications are trained in the core theory of their respective areas of study. The studies equip the practitioner for effective ministry to fulfill their calling with desired core competency. The local church, community, national organization and fellowships of all sizes can send their workers forth with confidence that they are well prepared to fulfill the work of the Church in every venue with the core knowledge that any local or national organization requires for their licensed credential holders. Those receiving licenses, credentials and specialty certifications must stay current in their field of study and practice through continuing education, and renewals keep the professional skills current.
