About NICL
The National Institute for Christian Leadership seeks to prepare Christians for Leadership and Ministry in Church and Para-church organizations. Programs are designed for those with significant ministry experience and some theological training. Both undergraduate and graduate certificates are offered, as well as a Doctoral Diploma in Transformative Leadership. It is our vision to provide undergraduate and graduate level education at a fraction of the cost to those who desire and need the education but are unable to afford tuition at traditional institutions.
Those receiving Certificates and Diplomas are trained in the best practices and core theory of their respective areas of study. The studies equip the practitioner for effective ministry to fulfill their calling at the highest level. The local church, community, national organization and fellowships of all sizes can send their workers forth with confidence that they are well prepared to fulfill the work of the Church in every area of ministry and every corner of the globe.
The Institute recognizes the various levels of accreditation and understands the purpose of such accrediting bodies. That purpose is to provide standards for excellence and methods for improvement within educational organizations. This is not to say the various accredited organizations all provide high quality educational products or that there are not many non accredited organizations capable of providing excellent educational programs. Obviously you must consider the quality of the program and credentials of the instructors in either case. For this reason, the professional resume’ of our President and Senior Professor is available for your consideration. You will notice the close relationship between Dr. Neil’s expertise and our program offerings. Additionally, each of the professors enlisted by the National Institute for Christian Leadership has a Doctoral Degree from an academic institution that is fully accredited and recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
National Institute for Christian Leadership offers a number of certificate programs in a blended format at a fraction of the cost of traditional degree programs but does not offer college degrees because the cost of accrediting each degree for college would raise our cost more than 1,000% per course. We are not seeking to attract students who can afford more than $3,000 per course. We are seeking those in ministry who desire to learn what students paying $3,000 per course are learning - but can only do so if the price is reduced to 10% of that.
In addition to our certificate programs at the Bachelor, Master and Doctoral level of study we offer Licensing, Credentials and Special Certifications to individuals, churches, jurisdictions, fellowships and denominations. These programs standardize the curriculum for those called to the ministry of the church as Missionaries, Evangelists, Ministers, Pastors, District Superintendents, District Missionaries, Chaplains, Adjutants, Elders, Teachers and Administrative Assistants. These programs allow the flexibility to customize the learning for the specific organization’s needs.
